Preschool

Being a part of our wider community is important to us here at All Kids. We believe that children of all ages should have an understanding of what it means to be a part of their local community and to show an interest in different ways of life. With this in mind, All Kids have built up a relationship with Littlefair, a local Care Home, and organise regular visits by the Preschool children who share activities and experiences with some of the residents. We also believe in the value of taking the children on walks through town, teaching them how to ask for and purchase different items in shops and visiting our local library. 

We understand that children develop and learn  at different rates. We assess their progress and plan for next steps depending on the individual. Every child is supported in developing their own sense of who they are, by having access to an environment that offers them the chance to explore what they enjoy, and discover new possibilities.  

East Court and Ashplatts Wood offer us the opportunity to let the children explore the natural world. We understand how much children love mud and you will often see our children suited and booted ready to make the most of the local environment. 

One of our main goals in Preschool is preparing children for their schooling adventures! We believe that children should be well-rounded by the time they start school. Therefore we don't only focus on their numeracy and literary skills, but also encourage children to work on their confidence and self-awareness!
