Under 3's

The Under 3s day is filled with a range of different experiences including sensory play, construction, role play and imaginative play. At All Kids, we understand that children in our Under 3s department are still exploring their interests and that it is our role to assist them in finding their likes and dislikes.  

All Kids believe in accessing the Outdoor Learning space all year round. We regularly make use of our beautiful surroundings in East Court and Ashplatts Wood. The Under 3s group use our private garden to help the children extend their physical education and encourage them to take on new challenges.

Access to sensory experiences form a large part of the Under 3's day. The team regularly encourage the children to paint, interact with different materials, engage in interactive tough tray activities and get creative in the environment around them. Both natural and artificial resources are used to elevate your children’s play experiences and encourage your children to explore. 

Within the younger age groups at our setting we put extra effort into the smaller details of your child’s day and their routines. We have an extensive settling in process which gives us the opportunity to learn as much as we can about your child before they start with us including their sleep routines, how often they have bottles etc. Our communication sheets provide you with a record of your child's day and positive partnership working allows for communication between nursery and home life.
